SUPPER CLUB
The Supper Club is a special ministry at
The Lighthouse Church designed to encourage the building of relationships with other adults in the church family...
Once a month, on a given night,
TLC adults host six to seven others in their homes for fellowship and dinner...
The meal is usually handled potluck or sit down style- sometimes with a menu theme- chinese, italian, mexican or seafood...
Whatever the fare, the evening is sure to be special, with good conversation and the opportunity to begin new friendships...For newcomers, this is a great way to begin getting acquainted and a perfect vehicle for new community groups to be born!

TLC CARING COMMUNITY GROUPS
Vision:
A community of people who have committed
to regularly meeting together to practically care about
one another and encourage one another to grow in their
faith in an environment that nurtures genuine discipleship...
Key Purpose:
Genuine Community / Shepherding Care
Key Ingredients:
While each Caring Community will vary in style, format and intensity, the following ingredients will be seen:
1. Relational Building Opportunities- "Reaching In" -Providing a spiritually healthy and safe environment where
genuine sharing can take place.
-Creating and nurturing an atmosphere of love that allows
for time to know each other personally in order that the group
can bring one another closer and deeper to the Lord.
-Building a Support System that allows the group to be able
to minister and help each other in times of need through the
various seasons of life.
2. Spiritual Growth Opportunties- "Reaching Up"
-A place to provide every individual-in a small group
context- through the use of the bible and prayer and intensive
personal care- the opportunity to be cahllenged and
encouraged to move forward in the faith from their particular starting point.
3. Service Opportunities- "Reaching Out"
- Providing specific avenues where Caring Community
Groups may collectively use their God given spititual gifts
to serve the Lord together.
CARING COMMUNITY WILL BE A PLACE
WHERE PEOPLE CAN BE KNOWN-
SO THAT THEY MAY BE LOVED-
SO THAT THEY MAY BE MOVED- CLOSER TO THE LORD-
AND TO ONE ANOTHER!!!!
