The Way of the Master
(Open to Everyone) Led by Jon Buthy
This course by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort will teach you to overcome your fears by using a proven, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense to those you care about. Learn to bypass the intellect (the place of argument) and speak directly to the conscience (the place of knowledge of right and wrong) - the way Jesus did. Ideal for groups of all sizes; weekly homework assignments will gradually coax you out of your comfort zone to begin sharing your faith confidently and biblically.
(Open to Everyone) Led by Dennis Hall
We often talk as though we know what grace means. But do we really understand it? Have we settled for wimpy grace? It politely occupies a phrase in a hymn, fits nicely on a church sign. Never causes trouble or demands a response. When asked, "Do you believe in grace?" who could say no? Max Lucado asks a deeper question: Have you been changed by grace? Shaped by grace? Strengthened by grace? Emboldened by grace? Softened by grace? Snatched by the nape of your neck and shaken to your senses by grace? Grace is the voice that calls us to change and then gives us the power to pull it off. Let's make certain grace gets you.
Getting Acquainted With The New Testament: Acts, Romans & Cor.
(Open to Everyone) Led by Pastor Charlie
We continue with the book of Acts, Romans and the Corinthian epistles. Did you know that Acts is more like “Luke: Part2” ? Romans is the book that has changed the direction of history and the Church more than any other. Did you know that our “I and II” Corinthians are actually “II and III” Corinthians? If you don’t know the difference between an epistle and an apostle, then you need this study. If you tend to avoid the book of Romans because it’s too difficult, then you need this course. If you love Jesus and want to know Him more, then you need this group.
Beginning April 23:
Victory Over Darkness
(Open to Everyone) Led by Jeanne Monge
When we begin our Christian walk we are overwhelmed with joy, but it does not take long before the darkness of intellectual doubt, emotional confusion and physical pain threaten to separate us from our Savior. In the updated edition of his contemporary classic, Neil Anderson explains that our identity in Christ, the power of Scripture and the love of the Christian community will help us to experience Victory Over the Darkness. Let this gifted pastor and counselor teach you how to "live as children of light" (Eph. 5:8).
A Time of Prayer precedes the Bridge, 5:15-6 pm (come for 5 minutes or 45; pray out loud or in your heart; all are welcome!)
Fellowship & food available from 6-6:20 pm and after Bridge from 8-8:30 pm.
